The Initial Xbox Game Pass Games of 2026 Show Xbox Is Still Fighting.

In numerous discussions, enthusiasts continue to ring the knell for the green team. The platform was lately surpassed in sales by a lesser-known competitor. Xbox fan sites have started writing regarding Sony's platform as a new development. The past year represented a period of total upheaval for the tech giant's gaming arm. Yet, based exclusively on what's coming to Game Pass in 2026, it's evident that the green gaming company continues to plan to draw people in with strong games on its key platform.

The Available Now Titles

The duo of games you can play right now as you read this, Brews & Bastards and Little Nightmares Enhanced Edition, aren't the showstoppers. Rather, it's what is coming to Game Pass soon that's deserving of attention.

Major Titles on the Horizon

Starting January 13th, the platform will add the often-overlooked Star Wars Outlaws, a sprawling adventure that refreshes typical Ubisoft design with an intergalactic heist adventure. Another big get is Resident Evil Village and its giant Lady Dimitrescu, previously described as "an ideal blend of horror and action."

Intriguing Niche Additions

Yet, the less-hyped additions coming to Game Pass soon are quite compelling. Lost In Random: The Eternal Die, an unjustly ignored roguelite that's a blast to play, arrives January 7th — and it's worth experiencing regardless of whether you played the first Lost in Random game.

The British post-apocalyptic game from last year could captivate you within just a quarter of an hour.

Atomfall, the stealth survival game by Rebellion Developments, is also a game to check out. Those with the top-tier subscription also have Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine – Master Crafted Edition to get excited about.

A Well-Rounded Collection

Ultimately, these titles aren't industry-shaking releases to Game Pass, and they don't represent tentpole Microsoft studios games that are the sole reason for the service in the first place. Yet, this selection are exceptionally strong. The lineup provides a solid mix of old games you might have missed and new-ish games that lacked the recognition they warranted upon launch — which makes them ideal prospects to find a new audience on Game Pass.

You might need to brace yourself to bid farewell to The Grinch Christmas Adventures, however.
