“At 58 years old, so I could make the decision down the line, I don’t know. Do I have to make the decision today? If so, I wouldn't return. But thank God, it's not necessary. I'll simply watch what lies ahead.”

What Would Lure Him Back?

Questioned regarding what circumstances would have to unfold to draw him back to the dugout, Klopp admitted he isn't eager to such a return. “I'm not entirely sure, My present work fulfills me,” he commented. “No longing for management; No desire to be in the rain through long matches; I'm glad to skip media briefings multiple times weekly or doing numerous chats weekly.

“No nostalgia for the changing area as a dressing room, but sitting in a restaurant with the team talking freely, I appreciate that. With many victories so there was often positive atmosphere around the place. I still have Van Dijk's laughter ringing in my ears as an instance.”

Commending Arne Slot

Klopp was full of praise regarding Arne Slot, crediting him due to the changes that took the title last campaign. Liverpool have lost a string of losses in every contest following significant transfers, though he denied the idea it could be the start of a downward turn.

“[Liverpool have] a phenomenal forward like Florian Wirtz, you will all eat your words if spoken against. An outstanding player. The French striker, superb talent. It’s a really good balanced team. You don’t have to worry regarding the Reds, they will be fine.”

Emotional Tribute for the Late Forward

He shared movingly regarding the passing of the Portuguese star, a 2020 acquisition while in charge, along with the consequences for the team. Jota was killed in a car crash alongside his brother in July.

“How do you replace a person like him? It goes beyond his on-field talent, it's his character. It's hard to picture the dressing room without him in it. Putting it into words is tough about it. A devastating blow for his teammates as well. Not a single person might employ it for poor performances but it is the situation. You walk in a dressing room where his spirit remains. Handling this on a personal level is difficult. Unbearable.”
