Mohamed Salah Extends Apology to Liverpool Dressing Room, Discloses Curtis Jones
Curtis Jones has disclosed that Salah apologised to the team after the controversy from his recent interview.

He was omitted from a key Champions League match after criticising the club and suggesting his connection to the head coach had soured.
“Mo is his own man and he can say his own stuff,” the midfielder said. “His apology was clear and was like: ‘If my words hurt anyone, I'm sorry.’”
The head coach has previously declined to disclose on whether he received a personal apology from the veteran striker.

He emphasized that the squad's reaction stayed normal. “Nothing about him changed, he had a big smile on his face and we all treated him normally,” Jones added.
The midfielder also noted that a player's desire to start is a positive trait. “I understand there are specific approaches you can handle situations,” he said. “But if a lad’s fine to just sit out, then I think that’s a bigger problem.”

Their results have remained strong in the games following the situation. He feels the forward's comments were never meant to cause disruption.
“When there’s been any sort of anger, it’s always been from a place of caring,” he finished. “We’re past that now and we’re gelling well as a team, getting results and starting to win games.”
