Fantastic $30 Map-Making Humble Bundle Represents a Virtual Tabletop Game Master's Fantasy

After a brief run back in April, this cartography software collection has returned for a limited time available through early December. Hailed as an extensive collection of mapping tools created by a specialized software company throughout their history, the entire collection is valued at over $1,300. And there are multiple package options available here.

The Main Attraction

The standout feature is definitely permanent access to the CC3+ software, a professional-grade cartography program which enables users to generate various types including fantasy overworld maps, detailed regional charts, city maps, and, perhaps most importantly, tactical combat environments.

A regional fantasy map generated in Campaign Cartographer 3+.

Package Levels

Entry Level

The cheapest bundle tier, starting at just one dollar, features merely four from the thirty-nine available products: Fantasy Overland Symbol Collection, Monster Token Pack 1, Castle Source Maps, Urban Source Maps. This one's only for cartographers who already have CC3+, yet it provides new fantasy symbol styles for landscape mapping, over seven hundred fifty creature tokens compatible with online gaming platforms, more than two dozen top-down castle layouts with 470 associated map tokens, eight fully mapped cities, plus seventy-plus building interiors.

Intermediate Package

The eight-product collection for at least $15 is where things get more interesting through inclusion of a lifetime CC3+ license, the first Annual volume, Ultimate Mapping Guidebook, Isometric Cities Symbol Pack. The Annual represents the annual collection from ProFantasy's long-running monthly subscription service featuring multiple CC3+ enhancements including map packs and various other tools. The Isometric Cities enables present urban areas in 3D perspective using angled views from all sides. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping is a 760-page suitable for novices and experts, packed with guidance and instructions covering cartography techniques.

Every volume of Cartographer's Annual come with this bundle, plus numerous additional tools and content that can help users craft complete solar systems, or focus exclusively on traditional fantasy world-building: battle maps, dungeons, urban centers, and continents from almost any perspective. You can even design character illustrations. At thirty versus fifteen dollars, the complete collection is so worth it, especially for cartographers with temporary CC3+ access and want to upgrade to lifetime. However, it's clearly more advantageous for cartography beginners since it includes introductory guides to facilitate learning. The sole limitation is that while you can redeem the deal across platforms, the software is only usable with Windows systems.

Philanthropic Aspect

As with other Humble Bundles, part of every purchase goes to benefit a nonprofit. For this one, the beneficiary is Save the Children, established in 1919 by Eglantyne Jebb focused on improving the lives of children worldwide via educational programs, medical services, and crisis response. The Bundle Filters option is toward the top of the page, but you can also select their donation amount on the right side of the page. There's also an "Adjust Donation" drop-down just below that, allowing you to adjust how much of your donation goes to Humble, Profantasy, and Save the Children.
